Sample Itineraries

3 nights / 4 Days

Island Escape - San Pedro

Day 1

Arrive and head out to the island. Relax, take a walk on the beach and have a nice dinner by the Caribbean Sea.

Day 2

Half day snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley. Spend the other half of the day fishing, exploring the island by golf cart or unwind on a sunset cruise.

Day 3

Go diving to one of the offshore atolls or go on a Manatee Watch Tour to Swallow Caye where you can spot endangered manatees in their natural habitat. Spend the remaining of the day swimming and snorkeling at Goeff’s caye, and enjoying a beach barbeque. Looking for a change of scenery, head inland on an excursion to a Maya site.

Day 4

Relax in the sunshine, go for a swim or do a quick snorkel or marine activity such as kayaking, sailing, or kitesurfing before departure.

Inland Adventure - Cayo District

Day 1

Arrive and head West to Cayo and check into one of Belize’s many jungle resorts. If time permits on route stop over at the Belize Zoo.

Day 2

Rise for some early morning bird watching. After breakfast visit one of the following Maya sites (Xunantunich, Caracol, or Cahal Pech). Spend the other half of the day horseback riding, hiking or canoeing.

Day 3

Time for caving! Spend the day Cave Tubing and Zip Lining at Jaguar Paw. For the more adventurous and active guests do a full day trip to the Actun Tunich Muknal, one of the most sacred caves in the world.

Day 4

Before heading to the airport, spend the morning on a nature trail hike or go bird watching. If in Cayo on a Saturday be sure to check out the Cayo Market.

LAND & SEA 10 Nights / 11 Days

Day 1
Arrive in Belize City and head to San Pedro. Spend the evening on a sunset cruise
Day 2
Half day snorkel trip to Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Spend the other half of the day fishing or exploring the island by golf cart
Day 3
Do a morning food tour around the island before heading to Cayo. On route stop off at the Belize Zoo if time permits. Check into your resort and enjoy the evening relaxing and having a nice meal.
Day 4
Do a full day of exploring the Mountain Pine Ridge area. Ensure to visit Caracol, the highest Maya site in Belize or visit 1000 Foot Falls, the tallest waterfall in Central America.
Day 5
Time for caving! Spend the day Cave Tubing and Zip Lining at Jaguar Paw. For the more adventurous and active do a full day trip to the Actun Tunich Muknal, one of the most sacred caves in the world.
Day 6
Spend the day in the wild. Go birding, hiking, horseback riding, visit a butterfly farm or a botanical garden.
Day 7
Rise for some early morning bird watching. After breakfast visit a Maya site (Xunantunich or Cahal Pech) before heading south to Placencia
Day 8
Go on a full day caye trip to an offshore island for spectacular diving/snorkeling
Day 9
Go on a full day boat trip to Monkey River sighting wildlife or do a full day hiking trip to Jaguar Preserve/Cockscomb Basin.
Day 10
Book another snorkel/ dive trip to one of the marine reserves in the area or head inland to Bocawina National Park for waterfall rappelling and zip lining.
Day 11
Relax on the beach, walk along the Placencia side walk before departing.

Belize covers 8,867 square miles and is made up of 6 districts. Due to its small size, getting around is quick and easy. You can spend the morning snorkeling the Belize Barrier Reef and by the afternoon you can be trekking through Belize lush rainforest or relaxing at one of Belize's many jungle lodges.
