Vacation on Ambergris Caye

Here are some ideas
Day 1
Arrive into Belize City and head out to the island. Just a 15 minute flight from Belize City or 2 hours by ferry, the island is easily accessible. Upon arrival and check in at your hotel it's time to relax in the sunshine as you are now on island time. Depending on your arrival time you can decide to take a walk on the beach into town where various shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment options can be found. Or you can decide to rent a gold cart and explore the island that way. Be sure to enjoy a nice dinner by the Caribbean Sea.
Day 2
Belize is home to the largest barrier reef in the Western Hemisphere making for amazing marine adventures. Snorkelling is a must when on the islands. Spend the day at sea on a catamaran tour stopping off at Hol Chan Marine Park and Shark Ray Alley. After snrokelling you will sail to Caye Caulker. Spend some time exploring the island by foot and taking in the laid back tropical vibe. You will end you day sailing back at sunset - a beautiful end to the day.
Day 3
The Belize Barrier Reef Reserve System, inscribed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers exceptional diving. One of the most popular sites known to many is the Great Blue Hole located in Lighthouse Reef. On one of your days be sure to go diving to one of the offshore atolls or to the Great Blue Hole. Not a diver opt to explore the Blue Hole from above on a helicopter or plane tour over the Blue Hole. Witnessing this one of a kind sinkhole from above is breathtaking.
Day 4
On your last day its all about relaxing. Relax in the sunshine, go for a swim in your resort pool or in the sea. Up for some more adventure, go for a half day snorkel to Mexico Rocks or enjoy other marine activities such as kayaking, sailing, or kitesurfing. As night falls, enjoy a nice dinner at one of the many great restaurants in San Pedro Town. Be sure to enjoy the seafood when on the island. Day 5
Fishing is a a thriving sport on the island. Depending on your departure time you can spend a half day fishing. Go deep sea fishing, fly fishing or just drop fishing. Depending on what you catch you can enjoy a catch and cook beach bbq. Nothing is nicer than a fresh catch as your last meal before heading home.
